The WriterHouse
Pat Berge, founder and Director of the WriterHouse in Kansas City’s
Northland, inspires writers in her classes at Maple Woods
Community College and in her TellingTree Writing Workshops. She
is co-editor of Under the TellingTree: An Anthology of Verse and Voice.
Pat also taught at Columbia College Chicago while studying for her
Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with John Schultz, founder
of the Story Workshop Method. Berge holds a B.A. in Business from
the University of Kentucky and an M.A. in Education from the
University of Missouri in Kansas City.
